#THIS SCENE MEANT SO MUCH TO ME READING THE BOOK!#Like I remember where I was when I read it#And I remember feeling sort of like Harry did#I always looked up to Lupin in the books#he was wise you know?#He was a role model#someone to look up to#and then you read that part and it’s a realization#it’s a realization that adults — all of them even the seemingly wisest — have faults#they are imperfect#they are just people#Remus Lupin was just a person#with insecurities and fears and moments of true stupidity#this scene was so important and not just for plot but for meaning\#Harry’s grown up#And after this scene I felt like I’d grown up some too
